“If oil prices continue to rise and producer costs rise, it is inevitable that this will eventually come to the price of retail commodities,” Changyong Rhee, the IMF’s Asia-Pacific director, said in a Bloomberg TV interview. “At that stage, Asia can continue exporting inflation to the world, but it is not at that stage yet.”
