Cleartrip has announced its ‘big travel sale’ with the launch of its new ad campaign. The films for the campaign were conceived by Lowe Lintas and the three ad films are tied together with one core message: Don’t miss Cleartrip’s big travel sale. The sale will be live from March 22 to March 31, 2022.
To celebrate this sale ahead of the summer travel season, Cleartrip has recruited former cricketer Ravi Shastri, actors Mithila Palkar and Dhruv Sehgal, and actress Shruti Haasan for its latest advertising campaign films. Cleartrip has rolled out three films promoting each sale on domestic, hotel and international flights.
“We understand the two-year wait to plan a summer vacation, and we are ready to offer huge deals on international flights, domestic flights and domestic hotels. Our latest campaign will resonate with travelers who regret missing out on the opportunity to book a great travel deal and encourage customers to book that vacation,” said Kunal Dubey, CMO of Cleartrip.
The first commercial film brings together Mithila Palkar and Dhruv Sehgal. She finds the video in the infamous Hotel Decent with the receptionist from Jab We Met (film). Mithila Palkar is angry with Dhruv Sehgal for missing out on Cleartrip sales on domestic hotels – because they now have to stay in the hotel that accepts ‘no credit, only cash’.
In the second commercial, Shruti Haasan is annoyed by her PA for not booking her business class tickets for her vacation. Even the middle and window seats in Economy are all booked at the last minute. Again, there’s a sense of missing out on great seats and even better deals on domestic flights during the big travel sale. Finally, the actress’s PA declares the holiday cancelled. The third film shows how Ravi Shastri enjoys the retired life and barbecues with his friends. He misses traveling and proposes to take a trip around the world with his friends. After missing out on major discounts on international flights, his friends suggest he should have continued coaching and traveling the world.
