(Opinion of Bloomberg) — Scary headlines about the long-term effects of Covid are easily gaining traction. Recent news reports have warned that “even mild Covid can cause brain shrinkage”, “memory loss” and “long-term” “brain damage” that changes the brain “largely” “but a decade of aging”. Over time, that fear is unlikely to get any better than the fear that the virus could spread outdoors on beaches or on mail items.
