Hong Kong reported 14,149 confirmed cases of Covid on Sunday, the lowest daily toll in more than three weeks, indicating the outbreak is falling from a peak of more than 50,000 daily cases earlier this month. Still, the number of fatalities has remained at its highest level since the start of the pandemic and the death rate is among the highest in the world.
