Female applicants who enroll in the metaMBA program and are nominated by the women leaders will receive a scholarship of Rs 25,000 along with mentorship until they get a job.
Invact Metaversity partners with SHEROES, a women’s social platform, to identify and sponsor women who are worthy of Invact Metaversity’s metaMBA program to advance gender equality. The first class under the program plans to have more than 50% women.
According to Manish Maheshwari, Founder and CEO of Invact Metaversity, “Through this initiative, we want to support and empower female aspiring candidates, self-elevate themselves as entrepreneurs and thus promote gender equality. We want deserving female candidates to make an equal contribution to the technology-driven workforce. We have already received more than 250 leads for our scholarship program in two days, which is an example of how young women are eager to get started and have big dreams for their future.”
Leading businesswomen from different sectors will be part of this program, supporting gender equality in education through scholarships while ensuring a gender-balanced workforce in the future. Female leaders supporting the program include Sairee Chahal, founder of Sheroes, Kirthiga Reddy, former SoftBank partner and head of Facebook India, Vani Kola, founder and director of Kalaari Capital, Shradha Sharma, founder and editor-in-chief of YourStory, Shereen Bhan, editor-in-chief of CNBC-TV18, among others.
