Earlier this week, Japan released details about its export ban on semiconductors, machines and materials against Russia as it remains in compliance with US and European Union sanctions designed to prevent President Vladimir Putin from continuing his attack. The ban, which takes effect on March 18, will apply to about 270 products used in categories such as nuclear power, electronics and communications, the Commerce Department said Tuesday.
