MG Motor India has announced the opening of a new service facility in Malad, Mumbai. The facility, dubbed the largest MG workshop in Western India, has been inaugurated to meet the evolving mobility needs of more customers in the city.

MG Motor’s latest workshop recognizes the strong market potential for premium SUVs in Mumbai and shares the overall look and feel of the carmaker’s futuristic customer approach, while also reflecting its British heritage.

With the inauguration, the automaker will operate 43 points of contact in Maharashtra and plans to expand to 45 points of contact in the state by 2022. So far, the automaker has a total of 310 points of contact across India.

Commenting on the inauguration, Gaurav Gupta, Chief Commercial Officer of MG Motor India said: “The inauguration of the MG Malad workshop is in line with our plans to improve the service experience for our customers in Mumbai. The facility will meet all requirements, including service, spare parts and accessories.”
