Ruchi Soya Industries Ltd. was founded in 1986 and is headquartered in Mumbai. It is one of India’s largest producers of soy products under the name ‘Nutrela’ which has become a household name in India. It is one of the integrated players in the edible oil sector with a presence across the value chain and it has the largest palm plantation in India.

It is also active in wind energy generation, where the renewable energy generated is used for sale and for its own use. It has production facilities in 23 locations through an access to the pan-Indian distribution network.

In FY21, Ruchi Soya added two new business verticals, honey and atta.

In FY22, it also expanded its packaged food portfolio by adding biscuits, biscuits, rusks, noodles and cereals to its products. It has a plan to launch healthy nutraceutical products to venture into a niche and high-growth high-growth health goods segment.
